Here are four of our favourites to keep you cosy this winter:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Classic Hot Toddy&nbsp; <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The soothing blend of honey and spicy rum provides a chill-busting, mood-boosting power cocktail, all with very basic ingredients most would have at home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">30ml Havana Club 3yr<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15ml honey<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 slice lemon<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 cinnamon stick (or \u00bd tsp of ground cinnamon powder)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A squeeze of lemon juice<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Boiling water<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Method<br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a latte glass or mug (heat resistant), add the rum, honey, cinnamon stick and lemon juice. Top up with hot water and stir thoroughly. Add more lemon or honey to taste and garnish with a slice of lemon.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Spicy Apple Cousin <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This potent one is all sugar and spice for a whole lotta nice\u2026 sweet and spice. It\u2019s also as simple as you like. Which we like.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ingredients:<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">45ml Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">120ml Apple cider<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lemon juice<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 tbsp sugar<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">t tsp cinnamon<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Method<br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rim the glass by pouring the lemon juice into a shallow container and dipping the rim of the glass into it. Shake off the excess and then dip the rim of your glass into a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Pour all rum and cider into the glass, along with a squeeze of lemon juice. Stir thoroughly.<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Pineapple and Rum Powerhouse <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This modern toddy is soothing, satisfying, and even has some nutritional benefits. When the temperature drops, this is what you need to mix. Pronto.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ingredients: <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">150ml pineapple juice<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">240ml water<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">25ml honey<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">90ml Havana Club 3yr<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">120ml Ginger ale<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 cinnamon sticks<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pinch of cinnamon<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pinch of nutmeg<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Method:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour the honey, water, pineapple juice, ginger ale and rum into a small pot. Place on a stove, and simmer until the honey has dissolved. Add in the spice and cinnamon sticks and simmer for another about three minutes. Pour into a tall, heat-resistant glass and enjoy.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hot Buttered Rum<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A hearty old favourite. This recipe serves four.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ingredients:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 cup Sailor Jerry Spice Rum<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bc cup unsalted butter,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bc cup of sugar (or low carb sweetener of your choice)<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bd teaspoon of ground nutmeg,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 tsp ground cinnamon,<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 cups of water and salt to taste.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Method:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour everything but the rum into a pan and slowly bring to a boil. As soon as it does, reduce the heat to simmer and give it a good whisk for about five minutes.
